1. 能听懂,会读,会说,会用How do I get to …? 及回答:Go along this street. Turn left/ right at the traffic lights. Get on/ off … at …Station. You can see the … on the left/ right;

学情

分析

本课的授课对象是五年级的学生,在日常情景中应用性较强,所以建议教师在教学中可多创设情景来让学生巩固练习。而对于本课的学习,五年级的学生也已经有了一定的基础:①之前学习过park, school, library等一些较简单的地点类名词,在本课可以多掌握一些别的地点名词;②之前学习过right和left的基本用法;再围绕本课核心句型展开教学,帮助学生学会如何问路和指路。

1.Enjoy a song

T:Before the class, let’s enjoy a song.

T:Now let’s have a free talk.

S:I live in/at/on….

T:How do you get to school?

S:I get to school by …/on foot.

本环节欣赏一首与“询问到达方式”有关的歌曲。既能够激发课堂氛围,又引导学生进入本节课主题。然后通过自由对话,一问一答复习一些以前学过的知识,切入本课主题。
Part 2 :

Presentation.学习本节课重点单词与句型。

Step II: Presentation:

1.Words time

T:Look at the first picture and try to read the phrase.

S:ask the way

T:Good! Now let’s listen to the audio to imitate the phrase.

(Play the audio)

S:ask the way

2.Watch and answer

T:Last week, Su Hai moved into a new home. Do you want to visit it?

S:Yes!

T:But we don’t know where her home is.

So, we need to answer three questions after watching the video. Perhaps we can find the answers.

(1)Who’s asking the way?

(2)Where dose she want to go?

(3)How does she go to Su Hai’s home?

(present the questions, play the video)

OK, now, who can answer the first question?

S:Yang Ling.

T:Great! Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai’s new home, too. But she doesn’t know the way. So she calls to Yang Ling to ask the way. Let’s follow Yang Ling to see it.

S:OK.

3.Asking the way

T:How does Yang Ling ask the way? Let’s find it.

S:How do I get to your home, Su Hai?

Excuse me, how do I get to the bookshop on Moon Street?

4.Showing the way

T:How does Su Hai show the way?

S:You can take the metro. You can get on the metro at Park Station and get off at City Library Station. Then, walk to Moon Street. There’s a bookshop on the street. My home is next to it.

T:Yang Ling can take the _________.

Which station can she get on?

Which is next to Su Hai’s home?

5.Watch and answer

T:Hang up the photo, and Yang Ling sets out. But she meets a new problem. Now, answer three questions after watching the video.

(Present the questions, play the video)

(1)Where is Yang Ling when she comes out the station?

(2)Does she see the bookshop?

(3)Who helps Yang Ling find her way?

S:…

T:How does the policeman show the way?

S:Go along this street. Turn right at the traffic lights. Then, go along Moon Street. You can see the bookshop on your right.

6.Listen, fill and read

Listen carefully. Ss fill the blanks and read fluently.

7.Work in groups and role-play.

T:Now you can work with your partner and role-play the conversation.

教师将文本解读分为乘地铁前和下地铁后两个部分,本环节通过问题导入教学法,带着问题看视频,掌握两篇story的大意,找到如何“问路”和“指路”的相关语句。对文本挖空,通过听录音的方式补全短文,引导学生关注本课重点句型。小组内练读并进行合作朗读。
