教材分析

What:The text is a short dialogue. The content of the dialogue mainly includes describing the like and dislike of the food..

Why:Let students know how to rightly read and write the food words that can be used to describe themselves and others’ like and dislike of the food..

How:The conversation includes many food words like “vegetable, fruit, apple” and the sentence patterns like “How about…”

 

教学目标

1. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

语言能力:

(1) Have the following words: vegetable, fruit, apple, then, egg,carrot, rice, chicken, breakfast, lunch, dinner.

(2) Can master the following sentence patterns:

–Does she like tomatoes?

-Yes, she does./No, she doesn’t.

2. 学习能力: listen to the recording for many times to obtain food and their attitude towards the food by the protagonists in the recording and the evaluation of the activities, so as to improve listening and speaking ability.

3. 文化意识: realize the differences of the three meals a day between China and the West, which is conducive to deepening their identification of their own culture and understanding of foreign culture, and improving the ability of cross-cultural communication.

4. 思维品质:improving students’ thinking ability of analysis, summary and divergent thinking and thinking about other fruits and vegetables in daily life through the classification of food fruits and vegetables.

Step 2 T: Let see Lily’s three meals in one day.

T shows the picture in 1a and them lead Ss to learn the word in 1a one by one in an order of three meals.

Ss learn the food word in 1a and learn the expression of three meals in a day. The situation of Lily’s three meals can help Ss smoothly learn the eight words.
