目标

2.学生能够根据句型“What does your father/mother do?”“He/She is a/an…..”询问别人的父母的职业并能够回答。

3.学生能读懂Let’s learn的课文,并回答相关问题。

1.学生能够掌握有关询问职业的句型。

2.学生能够掌握有关职业的词汇并运用到交际口语中。

学情

分析

六年级的学生已经学习了三年英语,有一定英语基础。大部分同学具有强烈的好奇心和浓厚的学习兴趣,他们上课积极活跃。部分同学由于基础不扎实,缺乏自信,不愿表达,害怕开口。

在教学过程中,教师要改进课堂教学方式,让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化,师生之间更加融洽;重新调整对学生的评价模式,让他基础弱的同学更好的发挥自身潜能,规范学习态度,严谨学习作风;并且加强与学生家长的交流,更好发挥家校共建作用:与问题学生多谈心,多交流,帮助他们想办法,解决学习上存在的问题,让他们看到努力后的结果。

学生之前已经学过“teacher,nurse,farmer,driver”等职业,而今天学习“factory worker,postman…”等职业是在之前内容上的巩固和拓展。

本环节欣赏一首爱好有关的歌曲。既能够激发课堂氛围,又引导学生进入本节课主题。然后通过一问一答复习一些以前学过的关于职业的词汇。
Part 2 :

Let’s learn.学习本节课重点单词与句型。

Step II: Let’s learn:

1.Lead in

T:Look! Today is “Career Day”, Miss White asks students about their parents’ jobs. Now let’s see how do the children answer.

2. Let’s learn

T:Look! What does Sarah’s mother do?

S:She is a factory worker.

T:Very good! Now let’s play a game. I say one, you say factory. I say two, you say worker. I say three, you say factory worker.

T:Look at this picture. What does Amy’s father do?

S:postman.

T:Good!So Amy can say:

S:My father is a postman.

T:Excellent! How about Oliver’s father?

S:He’s a businessman.

T:Do you want to be a businessman. Now let’s read the word together. Businessman.

S:Businessman.

T:What about Zhang Peng’s mother? What does Zhang Peng say?

S:My mother is a police officer.

T:Now let’s play a game. Look at this card. Here is a thief! Now you can touch this card and say:I’m a police officer.

3.Let’s watch

T:Now let’s watch the video and imitate the words and sentences.

4.Role-play

T:Now you can work with your partner and role-play the conversation.
