目标

1.学生能够根据图片等提示来复述Story time中的故事情节。

2.学生能够听懂、会读、会说不规则动词bite, let, wake的过去式。

学情

分析

六年级的学生经过三年的学习,已经有了一定的英语基础,差距也有所明显。所以在授课时,针对基础较好的学生,以引导兴趣为主,继续保持学习英语的热情。针对学困生,从基础进行培养,让学生从基础出发,先树立学生的自信心。

本节课的“Story time”故事情节,是一篇非常有趣的关于狮子和老鼠的故事。六年级的学生也掌握了部分学习故事的方法。所以在故事教学中,教师可以把学习的主动权交给学生,教师在课堂上更多的是扮演引导者和监督者的角色。在教学中,建议教师落地新课标的要求,设计合适的教学活动,来发展学生的核心素养。通过层次鲜明,形式多样的听、说、读、写、看等活动激发高年级学生的学习兴趣,培养和提升其思维品质。同时通过个体回答,同伴学习和小组合作等多样化的互动形式来营造乐学、善学的课堂氛围。

Step II: Let’s learn:

1.Free talk

T:Look at the picture, what do you think of the mouse and the lion?

S:The lion is large, the mouse is small…..

2.Watch and answer

T:Now let’s watch the video and answer these two questions:Did the lion eat the mouse?Who helped the lion?

After watching

T:Did the lion eat the mouse?

S:No, he didn’t.

T:Who helped the lion?

S:The mouse.

3.Read and answer

T:Read this part and underline “What happened in the forest?”.

S:……

T:What did they say?And how did they say them?

S:……

T:Now let’s these two sentences with emotion.

T:Now let’s read part 3 and underline “What happened the next day?”

S:The next day, two men caught the lion with a large net.

T:Now let’s read part 3 and underline “How did the mouse help the lion?”

S:The mouse made a big hole in the net with his teeth.

4.The mind map

T:How did the mouse help the lion? Let’s finish the mind map.

5.Listen and repeat

T:Look at the passage, let’s listen and repeat.

6.Let’s retell

T:How did they became good friends? Now let’s retell the “Story time” according to the pictures.

7.Let’s think

T:Let’s think that what did you learn from “Story time”?

T:Being kind to others is also being kind to ourselves.
