教材分析

What:This is an advertisement of Mr. Cool’s Clothes shop where sell sweaters, trousers, shorts, jackets, skirts and socks.

Why:It can give Ss a clear input of the elements and parts of a ad and help Ss know how to write their ad for their store.

How:In dialogue, there are many general questions, such as “Do you need…?” “Do you like ….”  and it also give a good context for learning preposition of “ in, on and for”.

 

教学目标

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

1. 语言能力:master key vocabulary and sentence patterns:

Mr., clothes.store, buy, sale, sell, all, very, price, boy

>1.Come and buy your clothes at our great sale!

>2.We sell all our clothes at very good prices.

>3.For girls, we have skirts in purple for only $20.

2. 学习能力:read the advertisement about Mr. Cool’s clothes store and summarize the required elements of an advertisement and write it in the target language; get the advertised clothing and its price; use a mind map to outline the structure of the ad.

3. 文化意识:  establish a positive and healthy consumption concept, and develop good habits of not spending money in a disorderly manner and reasonable financial management.

4. 思维品质: think and internalize and write an advertisement for my own store in the form of a short essay to improve my ability of criticism and innovation.

Then T shows a video to Ss and asks them to count out the numbers with the video. After that, T asks them to retell the memory formula of cardinal numerals.
