目标

1.学生能够能够听懂Let’s try中的听力内容并回答相关问题。

2.学生能够熟练阅读Let’s talk 中的对话,了解John的相关信息。

3.学生能够介绍自己朋友的年龄、住址、爱好等特征。

4.学生能够了解一些关于澳大利亚的常识。

教学

1.能询问他人是否有某些爱好,并做出相应的回答;

2.能读懂Let’s talk的课文,了解John的笔友;

3.能掌握第三人称及动词三单的变化规则。

学情

分析

六年级的学生已经学习了三年英语,有一定英语基础。大部分同学具有强烈的好奇心和浓厚的学习兴趣,他们上课积极活跃。部分同学由于基础不扎实,缺乏自信,不愿表达,害怕开口。

在教学过程中,教师要改进课堂教学方式,让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化,师生之间更加融洽;重新调整对学生的评价模式,让他基础弱的同学更好的发挥自身潜能,规范学习态度,严谨学习作风;并且加强与学生家长的交流,更好发挥家校共建作用:与问题学生多谈心,多交流,帮助他们想办法,解决学习上存在的问题,让他们看到努力后的结果。

上节课学习了单词cooks Chinese food,studies Chinese,does word puzzles… 以及句型“-Does he/she …? -Yes,he/she does. No,he/she doesn’t”,而这节课继续学习询问第三人称的爱好兴趣,是上节课的巩固和提升。

3.Listen and check the answer

T:Now let’s listen again , look at the material and check the answer.

4.Let’s fill

T:Now let’s fill in the blanks according the listening material.

Step III:Let’s talk:

1.Lead in

T:Look! Wu Binbin is talking about his new pen pal with John.

2.Watch and answer

T:Now let’s watch the video and answer these two questions.

After watching

T:What’s his name?

S2:His name is John.

T:Where is he from?

S2:He’s from Australia.

3.Let’s know

T:Look at this map. This is a map of Australia. Look! Here is the Sydney. It’s the biggest city of Australia.

4.Listen and answer

T:Does he live in Sydney?Now let’s listen and answer questions. If he doesn’t, then where does he live?

S1:No, he doesn’t.

S2:He lives in Canberra.

5.Let’s know

T:Look! Here is Canberra. It’s the capital of Australia.

6.Listen and fill

T:What are his hobbies? Now let’s listen and fill in the blanks.

S:He likes doing word puzzles and going hiking.

7.Let’s fill

T:Now let’s read and fill in the blanks about Wu Binbin’s new pen pal.

T:Look! What does John say?

S:I like those too! Amazing!

T:Do you know the meaning of “amazing”?
