目标

 1. 在 Story time 的学习过程中，能正确听、说、读写单词：road, pavement, zebra crossing, green man, red man, traffic lights;

2. 能初步感知运用日常交际用语You must/ mustn’t…You can/can’t…；

3. 能用正确的语音语调朗读Story time中呈现的内容；

4. 能用英语说说道路交通规则并能牢记过马路的交通规则，树立安全意识。

 1.能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则；

2.在学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的词汇 zebra crossing, pavement, traffic lights, safety, safely;

3.正确运用日常交际用语：You must/You mustn’t…;

学情

分析

 六年级的学生对于基本的道路交通安全守则有一定了解。本课中学生需要进一步学习交通安全中更为细腻的行为语言表达。比如等如何看红绿灯，怎样安全过马路，观察车流的正确顺序等。同时在课程的行进中，高年段的学生需要多层次、多维度的练习。教师要设置合理性的互动的活动，提升学生的课堂趣味性和参与度，让学生能学以致用。

Let’s learn.学习本节课重点单词与句型。

 Step II: Let’s learn:

1.Free talk

T:Boys and girls, How do you go to school from Monday to Friday?

S:On foot./By bus./By bike…….

T:How many rules or signs do you know about the road safety?

S:traffic lights 红绿灯red light

yellow light         green light

Zebra Crossing 斑马线

2. Let’s watch

T:Watch the video and think “How many rules or signs do you see in the video?”

S:A road, a pavement, a zebra crossing, green man, red man, traffic lights…

3.Read and think

T:There are many busy roads in the city. So “Road Safety” is very important.

How can you cross them safely?  Please read the text quickly and find the answer tell me.

S:Free talk…Follow the rules and stay safe on the road.

4. Read and answer

T:Now, let’s learn from the story time, read and answer “How we cross the road?”

(1)Read Part 1 freely and underline some Verb phrases

(2)Try to answer with “first…, then…”

(3)T:Can you see the traffic lights? What is green man? What is red man? What do they mean?

(4)Read and act the policeman.

T:When the light green, that means we can cross the road. When the light is red, that means we must not cross the road? What about the yellow man?

S:It means “wait”.

That is to say red man means stop. Green man means go, yellow man means wait.

T:Just now we have learned how to cross the road when there is a zebra crossing.But sometimes you can’t find a zebra crossing near you. How can we cross the road safely? What rules are there on the road? Read the text below, and find the answer.

T:What can you see in the pictures?

S:Some boys are playing football on the road. A boy is skating on the road.

T:Do they follow the rules? Why?

S:Because there are many cars and bikes on the road.

T:So we must not run or play on the road.

6.Retell the text with the pictures..

Today we learnt some rules about road safety. Let’s try to retell the text according to the pictures.

 通过场景化的背景搭建，让学生能够身临其境地观察并学习马路上重要的标志和交通规则,培养学生的重点信息提取能力,同时进一步强化学生对交通规则的认知。

通过多种形式的“听”“读”，更大程度上激发学生的朗读兴趣。而通过小组合作的方式进行的朗读，能推动班级团队意识的形式和强化，同时能营造“自主性学习小组”的班级气氛，有利于同学间的互帮互助，提升班级整体的随堂学习效率。
