学情
分析 |
三年级的学生,由于年龄小,又加上生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。三年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段,这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况,采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。
在教学过程中,教师要改进课堂教学方式,让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化,师生之间更加融洽;重新调整对学生的评价模式,让他基础弱的同学更好的发挥自身潜能,规范学习态度,严谨学习作风;并且加强与学生家长的交流,更好发挥家校共建作用:与问题学生多谈心,多交流,帮助他们想办法,解决学习上存在的问题,让他们看到努力后的结果。 学生之前已经学过monkey, bear, panda, elephant 等动物,本节课是在上节课学习了“tall, short, fat, thin…”等之后的进一步学习。 |

Step II: Let’s learn:
1. Presentation: (1) Create a situation where a magician helps an animal transform. The courseware presents the picture of a short giraffe and asks students to describe it in the language they have learned T: Here a magician comes. He will do magic. What is it? Ss: It’s giraffe. T: It’s … Ss: It’s short. (2) The teacher presents the short giraffe monologue, the students help the short giraffe grow taller by saying a spell with the magician, and then using “the look at…. It’s … ”Description tall giraffe. Giraffe: I want to be tall. Ss: Be tall, be tall, be tall, tall, tall. (3) The courseware presents fat monkey pictures, please use “Look at them… It’s …” Describe its characteristics. Then the teacher shows fat monkey’s monologue, and the students help fat monkey to become thin by saying spells with the magician, and then use look at… It’s … Describe the thin monkey. Monkey: I want to be thin. Ss: Be thin, be thin, be thin, thin, thin. 2. Let’s learn The teacher shows some pictures of Let’s learn. The students look at the pictures and answer the following questions: Q1: What animals can you see? Q2: How many monkeys/ giraffes? 3. Let’s watch The teacher shows the let’s learn video. The students watch it carefully and then answer the following questions: Q3:Is this/ that monkey fat/ thin? Q4:What does this/ that giraffe look like? 3. Listen and repeat The teacher plays the Let’s learn audio, and the students follow and imitate the pronunciation and intonation. 4. Look and say The teacher shows the pictures on the PPT and asks the students to fill in the blanks according to the pictures T: Look at this____. S: Look at this mother. T: She’s . S: She’s tall. T: Look at this . S: Look at this son. T: He’s . S: He’s short. 5. Watch and say The teacher plays the Let’s do video, and the students try to sing it by themselves, and then sing the rhyme along with the animation. 6. 通过魔术师变魔术的有趣情境,复习学习过的动物名称及形容词,为之后操练本课时重点句式提供词汇支撑。
首先让同学观察图片,让学生带着问题观看视频,再通过回答四个问题,学习课文Let’s learn的内容,复习学过的单词和句型。
播放录音,学生听录音跟读。引导学生按照正确的语音、语调朗读单词和句子。
通过视频和音频让学生学会Let’s do中的内容,并且能够跟读并做出相应动作。
通过与小组成员活动,让学生在任务中,在虚拟的情境中正确表达、使用重点句式,做到在“用”中学。 |
