学习

目标

1. 能够听懂、会说单词:tall, short, fat并恰当地运用相关形容词来介绍动物。

2. 能够在实际情景中恰当运用句型 It’s (so)…来描述动物的特征; 通过课堂真实语境中的口语交际操练能使学生乐于模仿,敢于开口,提升英语口语的能力。

3. 在语篇的学习中,通过观察、谈论Let’s talk板块的图片,能够画出自己喜爱的动物,并用句型“Look at… It’s (so)…”来描述其特点。

4. 培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识,提醒学生要做一个遵守规则的人。

2.难点:让学生学会使用单词thin, fat, tall, short以及句型Look at that… 和 It’s …对人或动物进行描述。

学情

分析

三年级的学生,由于年龄小,又加上生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。三年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段,这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况,采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

在教学过程中,教师要改进课堂教学方式,让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化,师生之间更加融洽;重新调整对学生的评价模式,让他基础弱的同学更好的发挥自身潜能,规范学习态度,严谨学习作风;并且加强与学生家长的交流,更好发挥家校共建作用:与问题学生多谈心,多交流,帮助他们想办法,解决学习上存在的问题,让他们看到努力后的结果。

学生之前已经学过monkey, bear, panda, elephant 等动物,今天学习“tall, short, fat…”等是在之前内容上的拓展。

Part 1:

Warm up。热身。

 

Step I: Warm up

1. Lead in:

(1) Daily greeting.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?

S: I’m fine, too. Thank you. I’m very glad to stand here to share my lesson for all of you. OK!Today we’ll learn Unit3 At the zoo Part A let’s talk & Draw and say. Before our class, let’s watch a video.

2.Look and say

T: How many animals did you see in the video? What are they?

S: ……

3. Review

T: Look at the picture. There is an animal party in the zoo. Do you love

animals?Then review the words of animals that we have learnt .

T:How many animals do you know?Ss:I know all the animals.

T:OK,let’s go!Review the words:monkey,panda,bird,dog,cat,tiger,bear,elephant(Look at pictures and guess the animals to review the words)

Eg.  T: I’m white and black. I like eating bamboos! Please guess who am I?

用欢快的英文歌曲活跃课堂气氛,从学生们熟悉并喜爱的猜一猜游戏,复习学过的动物单词为后续的学习做好铺垫。
Part 2 :

Let’s learn.学习本节课重点单词与句型。

Step II: Let’s learn:

1. Presentation:

Show a picture: look and say

T: What animal is it?

Ss: Panda.

T: Look at that panda. What is it like? Fat or thin? (The teacher uses body language to guide the students to answer.)

The teacher continued to produce pictures of giraffe, monkey and introduce new vocabulary—tall, short.

T: Do you know the animal? What is it?

Ss;长颈鹿。

T:Great! It’s a giraffe. And what is it like?

2. Guessing game

Clean the glass and say the words.

Ask the students to look at the pictures on the PPT and say the right words quickly to win.

3. let’s talk

The teacher shows the pictures in the let’s talk text and leads the students to talk about what the pictures show

T: Look at this picture. Where is it? What can you see? Who are they?

4. Look and say

T: now let’s listen to the dialogue. After that, you should answer the questions:

Q1:Who is tall?

Q2:Who is short and fat?

The teacher plays the audio again and the students fill in the blanks according to what they hear.

Eg. Look at that____. It’s ___.

5. Watch and act

T: Now let’s watch the video and repeat after and imitate the video and act out conversations with group members. 6.Draw and say

Students draw an animal and try to introduce their work to their table mates in sentences.

T: Now you can work with your partner and role-play the conversation.

Eg.  Hi, I’m____,

Look at the____.

It’s__and__.

T: I have a picture here, who can help me  to introduce this picture?

通过展示动物的图片来学习新词汇,再通过猜一猜的游戏来巩固新学的单词。通过课文let’s talk学习新句型,再通过模仿课文和同桌对话等等学习课文内容和新句型。
