(2) Do you know who this astronaut is? Can you say something about him/her?

- Guess the meanings of new words
T: This article is a about Neil Armstrong. Go through it quickly and finish Part B1 on page 24.

T: Read the article again and work out a timeline for Neil Armstrong. It’s not necessary for you to read each paragraph carefully. You can read the first sentence of each paragraph to get the main idea.

T: In 1966, Neil Armstrong and David Scott went into space by spacecraft Gemini 8. Read paragraph 3, and answer the following questions.
(1) What did they do during their trip into space?
(2) What unexpected thing happened on their way back?
(3) How did they deal with the problem?
(4) To solve the problem successfully, what qualities do you think Neil Armstrong should have?
- Neil Armstrong’s trip to the Moon
T: Seven years after the trip into space,Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the spacecraft Apollo 11 on the Moon. Watch the video of the trip and find out sentences in paragraphs 4 and 5 to describe what you have seen.
