教材分析

What:This is a passage about introducing family members according to two pictures.

Why:This passage provide a good example of how to writing a passage about introducing family members. The topic of the passage if about family so it is helpful for students to learn to understand others, love their families, respect the old and love the young.

How:The structure of the passage is very clear and logical. The writing order is Introduce yourself——Topic lead-in——Introduce family.

 

教学目标

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

1. 语言能力:master key vocabulary and sentence patterns;master the methods of introducing family members;read passages and sentences for relevant information.

2. 学习能力:consciously use knowledge transfer strategies to complete group activities; be able to read short sentences or articles to obtain relevant information and improve their reading ability; exercise their writing ability, improve the comprehensive English ability, and cultivate the fun of learning English when reading and writing output.

3. 文化意识: learn to introduce their family members to other usages, to understand different cultures, and to respect cultural diversity and difference which can expand their knowledge of the English language. At the same time, students can learn to understand others, love their families, respect the old and love the young.

4. 思维品质:cultivate the logic of reading comprehension, and then enhance the ability of reading analysis; develop critical thinking by analyzing essay structures with mind maps cultivate divergent thinking in the process of reading the text and writing the composition

Step 1 T greets students. Then T invites to Ss to finish the family tree. And then T ask Ss to group the words for family members they have learned. S finish the family tree and  group the words for family members. IIt can provide a good review for students.
效果评价 学生是否能准确无误的填写家庭树并且对家庭成员的性别进行分类,是否能对认真地完成老师的任务。
Pre-reading (7)
Step 2 T asks Ss to find the names in the three picture in groups. And then T asks three students who represents their group to give the answer. Then T shows answers in PPT.

After that, S finish the first task in Self-Check.

Ss find the names in the three picture in groups. 1a can lead Ss to firstly know the eight word so that the learning of word can be more smoothly. Games can attract Ss and give Ss a interesting knowledge input.
