教材分析

What:The text is a conversation between Frank and Bob talking about their favorite the school day subjects and the reasons.

Why:The dialogue provides context for grammar learning of “who”, “what”, “why” question which can help students deepen their understanding the usage of wh-question.

How:This dialogue uses three wh-question, which is conducive to the learning of special questions. At the same time, the author also introduces compound sentences “I think …” to gradually improve students’ reading level.

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

语言能力:(1) master the following words: Monday, Friday, Saturday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday

(2) master the following sentence patterns:

①-Why do you like P. E.? -Because it’s fun.

②-Who’s your P.E. teacher? -Mr. Hu.

③-When is your geography class? -It’s on Friday.

(3) master the usage of special questions; Master the use of what, when, why, who.

2. 学习能力:  master the use of question words when,why, who, what. Actively cooperate with classmates to participate in dialogue exercises in part 3c to improve my listening and speaking ability.

3. 文化意识: know the tips of the week; cultivate the subject interest, broaden the horizon, reasonable arrangement of their study time
