What:Section A 1a-1c是一个听说链任务:通过主题图呈现了家庭琐事的词组表达,及礼貌、委婉地提出要求的句型表达,为学生感知目标语阶段;2a-2c也是一个听说链任务:延续前一部分关于请求许可的话题内容,练习、巩固此前学习的词汇和表达,并介绍、操练征询许可的句型结构,让学生学会礼貌地提出要求;2d的示范对话是兄妹俩关于家务的谈论,对话中提供了更为丰富的生活情境以及表达用语供学生输出模仿;

Why:初步学习不同家务琐事短语及有礼貌地提出要求或请求允许的句式表达,并在情境中运用。

How:通过听力掌握与家务琐事相关的词汇、语块,提炼单元目标语言,在真实的生活情境中较熟练、灵活地运用“Could you please…?”提出要求,用“Could we / I…?”向别人征询许可,通过拓展阅读语篇和师生讨论的活动理解在不同场合如何合适得体地会话,获取目标语交际的功能意义。

二、学情分析
学情分析 本单元的中心话题为做家务,学生在七年级已经接触过很多有关做家务的短语,对于这个话题不陌生,Could  you please do something ?句型七年级下册也已经出现过,且本单元的话题也比较贴近学生的日常生活,易于激发学生对本节课学习的主动性和积极性。
 

三、教学目标

学习目标 本课时学习后,学生能够:

1.听懂、说出、读出和写出本单元的单词和短语,并能够运用所学语言知识进行简单的交际。

2.理解和掌握本单元的重点句型“Could you please.”,并能够灵活运用该句型进行口语表达。

3.通过小组讨论和角色扮演等活动,提高自己的合作能力和口语表达能力。

4.学生能够了解环保意识的重要性,培养环保意识和行为习惯。

Step1Lead-in

First, ask Ss what they usually do on weekends and what chores they often do at home ?

Then play a game to consolidate the new phrases.      

Talk about things they usually do at home and chores they often do at home.

Say out the phrases quickly and check whether they have mastered these phrases.                                                                      

学生能够有良好的情感带入,关注如何表达请求和接受别人的请求。
Step2 Presentation

1. First look at Peter’s room and ask Ss to talk about their feelings.Then think about who will do the chores.

2. Step3 Listening

3. Listen to 1b

4. ①Listen and finish 1b. Who will do these chores? Check (√) Peter’s mother or Peter.

②Listen again and fill in the blanks.

③Choose which sentence is the most polite way .Summarize how to make polite request.

Let’s act. Make conversation in 1c.

Listen to 2a and 2b

①Look at these pictures in 2a . Peter wants to do something relaxing, he has to get his father’s permission(许可).

What should he say ?

Could I…?

②2a Listen. Peter asks his father if he can do four things.

What does his father say? Check (√) yes or no.

③Listen again. Why does Peter’s father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart in 2a.

④Listen again and fill in the blanks.
