What:This is a passage about introducing family members according to two pictures.

Why:This passage provide a good example of how to writing a passage about introducing family members. The topic of the passage if about family so it is helpful for students to learn to understand others, love their families, respect the old and love the young.

How:The structure of the passage is very clear and logical. The writing order is Introduce yourself——Topic lead-in——Introduce family.

Step 1 T greets students.

Then T shows a video to Ss and invites them to free talk about the lost things.

Ss watch a video and free talk about the lost things. A video can attract Ss and free talk can practice their ability of communication and create a good class atmosphere.

Pre-reading (7)
Step 2 T asks Ss to find to finish 2a and them asks some Ss  to share their answers. Ss finish 2a and finish their answers with others. 2a can lay a good foundation for the following learning.

While-reading (15)
Step 3 T asks students read passage for the first time to finish the task in 2b, and 2c Ss read the passage and finish the task. This step can help students to improve the ability of scanning.
