2.Let’s match

T:Now connect the phrase to the corresponding picture.

Ss:……..

Part 2 :

Let’s learn.学习本节课重点单词与句型。

Step II: Let’s learn:

1.Let’s talk

T:Look at the picture. Who are on the picture?

S: Mike and his mum.

T: Where are they?

S: They are at home.

T: Can Mike go outside? Let’s watch the video and answer the questions.

2. Watch and answer

Students watch the video 1.

Question 1: What time is it now?

S: It’s 11:00.

Question 2: What are they talking about now?

S: Weather.

Question 3: Can Mike go outside?

S: No, he can’t.

T: Here pay attention to the word“outside”. The pronunciation of the combination i and e. There are others words like “Mike, like, rice, side”.

Question 4: Why Mike can’t go outside?

S: It’s snowy outside. So it’s cold outside. The answer is A.

T:  Take a look at the following pictures and identify which cases are cold and hot.

Ss: It’s cold/hot cold outside.

Students watch the video 2.

Question 1: What time is it now?

S:It’s 12:05.

Question 2: What are they talking about?

S: Lunch.

Question 3: What does Mike’s mum ask Mike to do?

S: To have some lunch.

Question 4: Can Mike have some soup?

S: Yes, he can.

Question 5: What does “Be careful”mean?

S: choose A. It’s means 小心。

T:When you see these situations, you need to be careful.

3. Listen and repeat

Listen to the tape, students repeat it with partner.

4. Fill in the blanks

Listen to the tape, fill in the blanks.

S1: What time is it

S2: Can I

S3: you can’t

S4: Yes, you can

S5: Be careful

让学生在自然的情景中运用所学的词汇和句型进行对话,不仅巩固了旧知,而且加深了对新知的理解和掌握、使学生能够在丰富多彩、生动有趣的课堂活动中感知语言,习得语言。

 

英语学习本就是不断模仿,重复练习的过程,学生在模仿跟读时可以模仿正确的语音语调形成良好的语感。
