What:The text is a short dialogue between Sally and John talking about the dates of birthdays, birthday parties, basketball games, school trips, and English games.
Why:Let students know how to rightly read and write the these school activities and practice the sentence patterns of when. How:The dialogue concludes many sentence patterns of when, which is conducive to training students’ familiarity with this sentence pattern and listening ability. |

1. 语言能力: (1) have the following words: English test, school trip, birthday party, basketball/soccer game (2) can master the following sentence patterns: -When is the English test? -Oh, that’s on Friday, September 29th. 2. 学习能力: (1)listen to the recording for many times to get the activities that Sally and John talk about in the recording and the schedule of the activities, so as to improve my listening and speaking ability. (2) actively cooperate with partners to practice dialogues, cultivate the fun of learning English, and improve the confidence of speaking English. 3. 文化意识: establish a sense of time and be able to arrange various activities in a reasonable and orderly manner. 4. 思维品质:guess the activities in the pictures by looking at the pictures to improve your discrimination ability. |
