◆Step 1 Leading in
Watch a video and asks: What is it about? Everyone has his own great idea. When you grow up, maybe you want to be a teacher, a businessman, a pilot or an engineer. Today we are going to talk about the topic about your future intentions. Let‘s discuss: What are you going to be when you grow up? ◆Step 2 Presentation Some expressions of jobs and asks Ss to answer the question: What’s his/her job? Game time: Match the words with the pictures . Go through 1a. T asks: Do you think these jobs are interesting? What’s your opinions about jobs? Is it exciting or boring? Is it easy or difficult?
◆Step 3 Listening 1b 1.Listen and fill in the blanks.Then match the items. 2.Check the answers.(见课件) ◆Step 4 Pair work 1c 1.Point out the sample conversation in activity 1c.Say,now work with a partner and make your own conversation. 2.Ask several pairs to say one or more of their conversations. |

1. Work on 2a Look at the picture in Activity 2a , Here is a boy named Cheng Han. Then asks: Can you tell me what he is doing? Can you guess what he wants to be? Check the correct boxes in the picture. 2.Work on 2b: Fill in the chart with key words. Play the recording and check the answers.(见课件) ◆Step 6 Pair work 2c 1. ask and answer questions about Cheng Han’s plans. in 2c. 2. asks: How to talk about the plans for the future? Then summarize it. 3. Pays a video and asks: Do you know the novel? 4. T introduce the life of the writer. ◆Step 7 Role-play the conversation 2d 1.Read the conversation and answer the questions.(见课件) 2.Read the conversation again and try to fill in the blanks.(见课件) 3.Let Ss practice the conversation. 4.Then let some pairs act out their conversations in front of the class. ◆Step 8 Homework Make a survey of your classmates about job and then give a report. 板书设计 Seetion A(1a-2d) 重点句型: 1. ─What do you want to be when you grow up? ─I want to be a basketball player. 2. ─How are you going to do that? ─I’m going to practice basketball every day. 3.
